Northwind Supply has sold industrial fasteners since 1974, from one warehouse in Sheffield. We are a stockist, not a manufacturer: everything is bought in to specification and held here, which is why the size range is narrow and the stock is deep.

who buys from us

Mostly maintenance teams, fabricators and small manufacturers. About a third of orders go to trade accounts, the rest to one-off buyers who need a box of something by Thursday.

standards

Metric stock is to DIN and ISO specifications, imperial to ANSI. Certificates of conformity are available on request for grade 8.8 and 10.9 steel; A2 and A4 stainless ship with a mill certificate where the batch allows.

trade accounts

Registered businesses can open an account with 30-day payment terms after two settled orders. Volume pricing starts at 500 units and is quoted per line, not as a blanket discount.

opening hours

The warehouse and phones are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Collection in person is possible if arranged the day before.
